SINGAPORE: The 2025 refreshed Tesla Model Y has made its Asia-Pacific debut at Level 1 Atrium, ION Orchard in Singapore, where it is on display till Feb 15.
It has a new cross car lightbar at the front, and the new rear light bar and tailgate are inspired by the Cybercab and Cybertruck respectively.
Also, the refreshed Model Y comes with a noticeably quieter cabin with double-layer glass for all windows and the panoramic glass roof which features silver-coated glass to further reduce the UV rays and heat entering the cabin.
Newly designed wheels and a rear diffuser reduce air resistance and optimise the lift balance between the front and rear wheels.
This enhances rear-wheel downforce delivering a quieter, more stable, and highly efficient experience at high speeds.
Signature features of the Model 3, such as ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, and second-row display for passengers are also available in the refreshed Model Y.
Customers can now adjust the position or fold down the rear passenger seats at the press of a button.

The refreshed Model Y is offered in two variants: Rear-wheel drive and Long Range (all-wheel drive), with prices starting from RM195,450 and RM242,450 respectively.
The Model Y Rear-wheel drive variant offers a 466km driving range (WLTP), and 0 to 100kph sprint in 5.9 seconds.
The Model Y Long Range variant offers all-wheel drive, a 551km driving range (WLTP), and 0 to 100kph sprint in 4.3 seconds.
It should be noted that the Long Range variant's 0 to 100kph sprint in 4.3 seconds capability is only available in the limited Launch Edition.
On the global front, Bloomberg reported that Tesla had also launched the refreshed Model Y in the US and Europe as the company looks to reverse its first annual sales decline in over a decade.
The Model Y had already launched in China earlier this month. The "launch series” long range all-wheel drive version of the vehicle is listed starting at US$59,990 (RM263,000) in the US with deliveries set to begin in March.
