STUTTGART: The 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupé offers fresh design accents and more power, with the familiar high level of acoustic and vibrational comfort.
The new range of engines gives the GLE Coupé an even more nimble and engaging driving character.
The models feel noticeably more agile and deliver stronger acceleration on country roads.
A plug-in hybrid model offers a purely electric range of over 100km.
Powerful computer architecture and an impressive setup of up to 27 sensors provide added safety.
In detail, 10 exterior cameras and up to five radar and 12 ultrasonic sensors monitor the surroundings.
Meanwhile, the new MBUX generation integrates artificial intelligence (AI), including from Microsoft.

The Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) transforms the GLE into an intelligent companion that thinks, learns and develops alongside its driver.
MB.OS integrates and controls every aspect of the vehicle.
This supercomputer uses AI and powerful chips and is connected to the Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Cloud, which enables over-the-air updates of all vehicle software.
The MBUX Superscreen extends from the driver to the front passenger across the entire width of the interior.
Three 12.3-inch (31.2cm) displays lie beneath the large glass surface, with the passenger display also standard.
As for the exterior, there is a larger radiator grille featuring an illuminated central star, a striking chrome frame with contour lighting, and a distinctive new front apron.

The star emblems in the taillights emphasise the Coupé’s sporty character.
Inside, the steering wheel adopts the much-loved “rocker-and-roller” control concept, combining intuitive operation with a sense of familiarity.
The latest generation of Digital Light produces a high-resolution lighting field that is around 40 percent larger and consumes up to 50 percent less energy than its predecessor.
The dynamic high beam Ultra Range has a range of up to 600 metres, which is the equivalent to around six football pitches.
Meanwhile, by regulating the forces on each wheel individually and stabilising the body in all driving situations, E‑Active Body Control is one of the most intelligent SUV suspension systems available.

The control units analyse the driving situation 1,000 times per second, continuously adjusting the suspension for maximum comfort and confidence.
The GLE Coupé glides effortlessly over long speed bumps, almost as if it were floating above the road.
Thanks to the new cloud-based damper regulation with Airmatic, the system anticipates the road ahead and automatically adjusts the damping even before the vehicle reaches the speed bump.
Also, with a transparent area of over one square metre, one of the largest panoramic sliding sunroofs in this class is now standard.
