PARIS: At the 2026 Paris Motor Show, the Aion GS7 five-seat SUV (sport utility vehicle) made its European debut.
The Aion GS7 is already on sale in several markets across South America and Central Asia.
The Aion GS7 is set to reach the UK in 2027, with plans for both hybrid and plug-in hybrid power in what will be Aion's first expansion outside of full EV (electric vehicle) powertrains.
The first production model built on a new EV+ platform, the GS7 will offer luxury-car refinement and a plush cabin complete with new technology and premium features not yet seen on Aion models.
Aion Auto UK managing director Jon Wakefield said, "Although Aion is a new name to British customers, we are not a new brand, and that is evident in the exceptionally mature quality of the product we're introducing."
"Our UK line-up will grow with at least five new cars over the next 18 months, including the UT Cross and GS7, on the way to an eight-strong model family by 2030.
"In addition, we’re focusing on building a sustainable and trusted brand, and our Great 8 Promise is testament to that, providing total peace of mind throughout our customers’ ownership cycle."
