PARIS: At the 2026 Paris Motor Show, the new electric Aion UT Cross was unveiled and combines SUV (sport utility vehicle)-styling with agile B-segment handling.
The UT Cross is billed as elevating Aion's existing supermini offering with a segment-defying car.
Created at the company’s Milan Design Centre, the UT Cross rides 20mm higher than the regular UT supermini and features rugged matt black wheel arch and lower body protective trim, a 'floating' roof with practical black roof rails, and distinct signature lighting.
Its bold looks are further enhanced by wider 225mm tyres and a unique alloy wheel design.
There are also a 440-litre boot and spacious cabin for both front and rear passengers.
The UT Cross shares the same 204PS powertrain and 60kW battery as the UT hatchback.
It also benefits from the same spacious interior and excellent equipment levels, features more akin with larger cars.
Further details will be announced ahead of the car's UK launch in early 2027.
