SHAH ALAM: The 2026 Proton S70 has recorded strong early demand, with 7,157 bookings secured since order books opened on Feb 11.
Proton says the encouraging response underscores the growing appeal of its C-segment sedan offering.
Since its introduction in November 2023, the S70 has seen deliveries surpassing the 40,000-unit mark.
The 2026 S70 is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine producing 150PS and 226Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission, offering a balance of responsive performance and everyday drivability.
A spacious cabin, advanced connectivity features and a comprehensive suite of driver assistance technologies further enhance its appeal for drivers seeking both comfort and practicality.
Meanwhile, Proton’s extensive nationwide network consists of 190 3S (sales, service, spare parts) and 4S outlets together with 77 body and paint centres nationwide.
Initiatives such as One-Day Service Delivery and relief vehicle support for extended repairs, ensure smooth ownership experience.
“Surpassing the 40,000-unit milestone since its debut is a significant achievement for the Proton S70,” said Proton Edar CEO Datuk Abdul Rashid Musa.
