PETALING JAYA: The updated 2026 Honda WR-V gets enhanced exterior and interior features that elevate its bold styling.
On-the-road prices without insurance are RM94,900 (E), RM98,900 (V) and RM104,900 (RS).
There is a new two-tone Blazing Red Pearl, only on the RS variant.
Honda Malaysia managing director and CEO Narushi Yazaki said, "Built to deliver exceptional value, this versatile small SUV (sport utility vehicle) caters to a diverse range of lifestyles, enabling customers to experience the joy of driving and freedom of mobility."
"We are confident that the new WR-V will further strengthen our market presence, building on the strong momentum achieved since its Malaysian debut in 2023. The WR-V has received positive market acceptance, with more than 24,000 units on the road to date," he added.
The sporty, drive-focused RS variant has a sleek new black front grille.
Also, 17-inch black alloy wheels are now standard across all three variants.
Inside, exclusive to the RS variant are new red ambient lighting, a wireless charger, and a 360-degree view camera.
The new WR-V now comes with upgraded combination leather seats (V and RS variants only) with red stitching, complemented by a new dashboard design finished with Dark Steel accents.
The new WR-V is also fitted with a 10-inch display audio system, now enhanced with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, featuring a larger and more intuitive interface.
With a 380-litre luggage capacity and 60:40 split-folding rear seats, the new WR-V offers flexible cargo configurations.
These are Utility Mode for maximum cargo space, Long Mode for transporting lengthy items, or Tall Mode for carrying taller objects.
Beneath the hood is a 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC engine, producing 121PS and 145Nm of torque, paired with a responsive Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).
The new WR-V continues to offer Honda Sensing driver-assist technology as a standard safety feature across all variants, alongside the Honda Connect (on RS variant only) smart telematics system.
Colour options include Platinum White Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Stellar Diamond Pearl and Blazing Red Pearl (V and RS variants only).
