STUTTGART: The 2027 Mercedes-Benz C-Class facelift offers a sharpened presence, enhanced comfort and a broad choice of electrified high-tech petrol and diesel engines as well as plug-in hybrid models.
"With its sporty elegance, electrified high-tech powertrains and intelligent support powered by MB.OS, it delivers what drivers truly need: proven reliability and innovative technology that creates real added value in everyday life,” said Mercedes-Benz Group AG management board member (sales and customer experience) Mathias Geisen.
There are four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines in various output levels, and integrated mild-hybrid technology.
All engines have second-generation integrated starter-generator (ISG 2.0), which provides up to 17kW of additional output and 205Nm of additional torque.
Together with exhaust-gas turbocharging, this ensures spontaneous response.

The 48-volt electrical system enables functions such as coasting and recuperation.
In the C‑Class facelift, the petrol engine is available in three output levels.
In the most powerful model C 300, it delivers 190kW (258hp) and rated torque of 400Nm.
In the C 250, it develops 160kW (218hp) and 320Nm, while the C 200 offers 130kW (177hp) and 270Nm.
The plug-in hybrid models combine the further developed four-cylinder petrol engine with a powerful electric motor, and are available with rear-wheel drive as well as all-wheel drive.
The C 400 e 4Matic saloon and the C 400 e 4Matic estate deliver a system output of up to 290kW (395hp) and system torque of up to 650Nm.

The high-voltage 19.53kWh battery enables an electric range of up to 100km (WLTP).
The C‑Class facelift has a new radiator grille with a striking chrome surround and contour lighting, headlamps with a star design and a powerfully sculpted front apron.
The enhanced optional Burmester 3D Surround Sound System with Dolby Atmos, 15 loudspeakers and a 710-watt amplifier takes the audio experience to a new level.
Noise and vibration comfort has been further improved.
The aerodynamic design of the trailing edge of the boot lid, including the integrated spoiler contour, as well as lateral separation edges in the taillights, minimise turbulence and the associated noise.
An additional seal on the windscreen further reduces wind noise.

The exhaust system is now suspended in a cage-type arrangement which noticeably reduces the transmission of vibrations.
Rear-axle steering with a steering angle of up to 2.5 degrees reduces the turning circle by 43cm to 10.64 metres, making parking and manoeuvring in tight spaces easier.
The Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) manages all domains of the vehicle and enables over-the-air updates.
The latest MBUX generation brings AI-based MBUX Virtual Assistant. Using the latest voice technology, it can hold complex conversations and remember details.
The fourth generation of MBUX. It combines artificial intelligence (AI) from ChatGPT, Microsoft Bing and Google Gemini in the in-car infotainment system.
Thanks to the Google Cloud Automotive AI Agent, the MBUX Virtual Assistant is highly knowledgeable about navigation destinations.

Even searching for available parking spaces now works within the conversation.
Active Blind Spot Assist uses discreet red flashing lights in the door handles to warn of other road users.
Also, with MB.Drive Assist Plus, the C‑Class facelift can change lanes automatically on the motorway. MB.Drive Parking Assist can take care of parking and unparking.
