The Auriga Deluxe will move vehicles and shield them from the harsh Malaysian weather, road gravel and stone chips due to the trailer being fully enclosed, while the Blizzard semi-trailers are non-enclosed, but offers the ability to load more vehicles than the norm per trip.
The Auriga Deluxe can accommodate a maximum of six passenger vehicles or up to four sports utility vehicles for each trip depending on the vehicle dimension, while the Blizzard semitrailer can carry a maximum of 10 units of cars depending on the dimension and kerb weight.
Use cases for such car carriers are vehicle transfer from manufacturers and distributors to the dealerships; vehicle transfer for import and export; and vehicle transfers to auto shows, new model launches and race events.
In addition, the Auriga Deluxe promises ultimate protection and maximum security. The Auriga's other unique selling points are that side doors can be fully opened to aid vehicle loading and it has a lifting roof with proximity sensors.
Currently, Starrtrek Carriers has a total of one Auriga Deluxe and six units of Blizzard semi-trailers and operate throughout Peninsular Malaysia.
The car carriers are made by Rolfo S.p.A of Italy, with the Auriga Deluxe priced at RM900,000 and the Blizzard at RM500,000.
