KUALA LUMPUR: Alfa Romeo is officially back in Malaysia under importer DLSB Partners Sdn Bhd.
This marks the Italian marque’s long-awaited return to the local market after exiting the market in 2013, and ending its tenure with Sime Darby Auto Italia.
The final model to be sold in Malaysia was the Giulietta, which was introduced in 2012.

To herald Alfa Romeo’s return, the company previewed two performance-oriented models - the Giulia Veloce sports sedan and the Stelvio Veloce sports utility vehicle (SUV).
They come with an estimated price around RM400,000 as announced by DLSB Partners executive director Datuk Douglas Cheng, who added that official pricing will be announced in January next year.
Both models have their front fascia “Trilobo” shield flanked by full-LED Adaptive Matrix “3+3” headlights and feature a digital 12.3-inch TFT cluster, leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel, red Brembo brake calipers, and an Alfa Link suspension system.
The Giulia comes with 19-inch wheels while the Stelvio gets them at 20 inches.

The two vehicles are powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine producing 280PS and 400Nm of torque, while paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Driven from the rear, the Giulia Veloce is able to accelerate from 0 to 100kph in about 5.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 240kph.
Meanwhile, with similar power ratings and an intelligent Q4 all-wheel-drive system, the Stelvio Veloce SUV completes the century sprint in approximately 6.0 seconds.
Nonetheless, both models will feature Alfa Romeo’s signature focus on balanced handling, sharp steering and Italian design flair.

“Malaysians have a special and admirable relationship with Alfa Romeo as we have an understanding that our cars are more than just a means to get to places.
"It is a brand that also gives us feelings, emotions and sensations that remind us of our love for cars, driving, and all the positive feelings associated with it.
“Alfa Romeo is only the beginning for us and we are on the cusp of introducing more exciting brands,” said Cheng as a possible hint towards Jeep.

Both the Giulia Veloce and Stelvio Veloce are now open for booking, with prices, full specifications, showroom availability, and delivery date to be revealed in the first half of 2026.
Also announced was the soon-to-be-unveiled “Casa Alfa Romeo” - a fully equipped flagship 3S Centre (sales, service, and spare parts), which will be opened at RS-G-1, Rhapsody Square, TREC Kuala Lumpur.
The new 3S centre is said to be designed as a hub for the “Alfisti” community, where customers will be able to explore and test-drive the latest models, enjoy bespoke services, and access the official Alfa Romeo Service Centre, and supported by a team of certified technicians, among others.

“For decades, Alfa Romeo has captured hearts through its passion, resilience, and rich heritage - qualities that create an unbreakable bond among its drivers. Its return to Malaysia marks not just a revival of a brand, but a rekindling of emotion and spirit,” said Stellantis (Asean) managing director Isaac Yeo.
“Together with our partner DLSB, we’re excited to grow the ‘Alfisti’ community together, to celebrate that rare connection between driver and machine,” concluded Yeo.
