TURIN: Alfa Romeo is freshening up its two top models, the Giulia mid-range saloon and the Stelvio SUV.

The Italian maker has made some changes to the exterior, but you'll notice the changes above all in the interior, which is getting new steering wheels and a redesigned centre console.

There is now a large touchscreen with online infotainment at the top and new controls the driving and music at the bottom.

On the outside, the most noticeable change is rear lights in a darker aesthetic.

Alfa has also improved the assistance systems and extended the functional range of cameras and radar sensors.

Under the bonnet, however, nothing has changed. Both models are still available with a choice of two diesel engines with 190 or 210 hp and three petrol engines from 200hp to 510hp.

According to the manufacturer, prices in Europe for the Giulia sedan range from €37,500 to €82,500, while the Stelvio SUV is on the list at €44,000 to €92,500.
