KUALA LUMPUR: iCaur Malaysia has started the order taking for its upcoming V23 all-electric sports utility vehicle, the brand's second model in Malaysia after the 03.
The SUV will also be offered in two variants of rear-wheel drive (2WD) and intelligent all-wheel drive (iWD).
Expected to be launched by the end of the year, the 2WD variant is estimated to be priced around RM145,000, and the iWD around RM155,000.

The public can get their first in-person look at the right-hand drive V23 at a special showcase from now until to Nov 2 (10am to 10pm )at Starhill Piazza, Kuala Lumpur.
Attractions include skateboarding demonstrations, dynamic dance performances, and the exciting iCaur V23 iFUN social media contest — where visitors stand a chance to win exclusive iCaur merchandise and other great prizes.

Considered to be within the mid-sized SUV C-segment, the V23 gets a wheelbase of 2,735mm, length of 4,220mm, width of 1,915mm and height of 1,845mm.
The 2WD variant is equipped with a 59.9kWh lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) battery that will power the rear axle-mounted electric motor producing 136PS and 180Nm of torque.

The iWD version adopts a dual-motor and all-wheel-drive setup, delivering a combined 211PS and 292Nm of torque, supported by an 81.8kWh ternary lithium (NMC) battery.
The 2WD delivers a maximum driving range of 401 km (CLTC), while the more capable iWD variant extends that to 501km (CLTC).

In terms of performance, the 2WD version sprints from 0 to 100kph in 11 seconds, while the iWD accomplishes the same in just 7.5 seconds.
Both variants are electronically limited to a top speed of 140kph.
For charging, the 2WD is able to support up to 85kW of fast DC-charging and 104kW for the iWD - both are able to accept up to 6.6kW when charging via AC, and to further add its capability is the inclusion of 3.3kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L).

Supporting the chassis are front MacPherson struts with the rear utilising a multi-link rear setup that are touted to have been tuned to provide a balance of comfort and control.
The 2WD variant uses 19-inch wheels with 255/55 series tyres while the iWD is fitted with 21-inch alloys shod with 265/45 rubbers.

Inside, the high-roof cabin comes fitted with retro-style rotary knobs and a full-HD 540-degree Transparent Chassis Camera system, among others.
For safety, the V23 is equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) package that includes adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and autonomous emergency braking as standard.

iCaur Malaysia also announced that it is focusing on strong after-sales support with plans to open 18 additional retail points and nine full-service centres nationwide by the end of the year.
This effort also includes expansion into Sabah and Sarawak.
