STUTTGART: Mercedes-Benz is redefining the mid-size saloon segment with the first all-new electric C-Class.
With its coupé-like silhouette, iconic grille featuring 1,050 illuminated dots and expressive GT rear, the electric C-Class embodies the latest Mercedes-Benz design language.
At the front is the new iconic grille with a wide chrome frame, a smoked glass-look mesh structure and an integrated central star.
The dynamic fastback rear is a statement for a new sporty driving experience.
Billed as the sportiest C-Class ever, core ingredients are a powerful electric motor with a two-speed transmission.

The electric C-Class has a range of up to 760km (WLTP) thanks to high aerodynamics and innovations such as the heat pump and the one-box braking system with a recuperation power of up to 300kW.
Meanwhile, 800-volt technology and a 94.5kW battery enable a recharged range of up to 320km in 10 minutes.
The electric saloon is also ready for bidirectional charging, turning it into a mobile energy storage unit.
Even the standard comfort suspension, with its fast-acting amplitude-selective damping and very direct steering, delivers excellent driving dynamics and outstanding ride comfort.
It is based on a sophisticated four-link axle at the front and an advanced multi-link rear axle suspended on a subframe.

The optional Airmatic air suspension with intelligent suspension control and the 4.5-degree rear-axle steering, offers a particularly wide spread between the “Comfort” and “Sport” driving programmes.
At 2,962mm, the wheelbase is 97mm longer compared to the conventionally powered C-Class saloon.
This particularly benefits the front passengers, who now have 12mm more legroom.
With the optional Sky Control panoramic roof, the glass surface can be switched between transparent and opaque in milliseconds.
It is divided into nine independently switchable segments, enabling passengers to decide individually how much light they want to let in and in which area.

The opaque setting offers additional glare protection in direct sunlight.
The Sky Control panoramic roof creates a unique visual experience, especially at night: 162 stars are illuminated in the individually selected colour – a starry sky could hardly be more personal.
In the cabin, there are a certified vegan interior, “Twisted Diamond” Nappa leather design, and outstanding acoustic comfort.
The new high-end electric seats indulge occupants with lumbar support, massage, seat ventilation and 4D sound.

Meanwhile, the new 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen (optional) extends across the entire width of the interior.
Matrix backlight technology with over 1,000 individual LEDs and independently adjustable brightness zones delivers clear information for the driver and personalised entertainment for the front passenger.
The Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) enables regular over-the-air updates for all vehicle software.
For the first time, Mercedes-Benz is using a horizontal line graphic with 3D relief and a two-tone design for the speaker grilles.
From the Burmester 3D Surround Sound System upwards, they are made of high-quality stainless steel.

The boot has a capacity of 470 litres. The front boot (frunk) adds a further 101 litres of storage space.
Also, from Distronic and MB.Drive assistance to the Pre‑Safe curve function, the electric C-Class offers comprehensive active and passive safety features.
Pioneering optional assistance functions include MB.Drive Assist Pro which enables safe point-to-point driving experience – even in dense urban traffic.
