INGOLSTADT: Audi has launched the all-new, third-generation Q3 SUV and Sportback, setting fresh benchmarks in the premium compact segment with a blend of emotive design, advanced digital features and electrified powertrains.
The exterior adopts a wider Singleframe grille and sleek, tapered headlights fully integrated into aerodynamic contours.
Optional micro-LED digital Matrix LED headlights introduce high-resolution illumination and adaptive light guidance, while digital OLED rear lights and a continuous LED strip deliver signature lighting effects previously exclusive to larger models.
Inside, the cockpit brings a “digital stage” from full-size Audis to the compact class.
An 11.9-inch instrument cluster and 12.8-inch MMI touchscreen form a curved, driver-oriented display, complemented by a new steering-column stalk arrangement that frees space in the centre console.

Acoustic glazing for the front side windows, ambient lighting packages and an optional SONOS premium sound system enhance comfort and atmosphere.
Practicality remains strong with 488 litres of boot space expanding to 1,386 litres with the rear bench folded; the sliding, angle-adjustable seat bench and a 2,100kg towing capacity further show off everyday versatility.
Powertrain choices span efficient mild-hybrid petrol and diesel engines through to a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) model.
Entry-level Q3 TFSI models use a 1.5-litre four-cylinder with mild-hybrid technology, while a 2.0-litre TDI diesel delivers 110 kW for long-distance efficiency.

The new Q3 SUV e-hybrid combines a 1.4-litre petrol engine and 85 kW electric motor for 200 kW (272 PS) system output, powered by a 25.7 kWh (gross) battery offering up to 119 km of electric range (WLTP, preliminary).
DC charging at up to 50kW enables an 80% recharge in under 30 minutes.
Suspension options include a revised standard setup, sports suspension and a twin-valve damper system that dynamically adjusts each wheel’s damping.
Progressive steering and Audi drive select’s new “balanced” mode refine ride comfort and agility.

Driver assistance has been bolstered with adaptive driving assistant plus, supporting lane-keeping, speed and distance control up to 210kph, and assisted lane changes on highways.
An interior camera monitors driver attentiveness, while emergency assist can halt the vehicle safely if required. Park assist plus, trained parking manoeuvres and reverse assist simplify low-speed driving and parking tasks.
Orders open in summer ahead of an October launch in Europe.
Pricing in Germany starts at €44,600 (RM219,000) for the Q3 SUV TFSI 110 kW, rising to €49,300 (RM242,000) for the PHEV model.
Production will be shared between Audi’s plants in Gyor, Hungary, and Ingolstadt, Germany.
