All-new Hyundai Creta open for booking


KUALA LUMPUR: Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) has opened the order books for the Hyundai Creta at all its authorised sales outlets nationwide as well as on its online booking platform Cl!cktoBuy.

The B-segment sports utility vehicle (SUV) radiates boldness and individuality.

It comes with a Parametric Jewel front where its LED daytime running lights are ‘hidden’ within the prominent grille until activated.

At night, the daytime running lights combine with the bumper-mounted LED projector headlamps to create a trendy visual signature.

Inside, the Creta gets features such as a 10.25-inch TFT LCD cluster, an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and at least four selectable drive modes to emphasise the versatility of the Creta’s character.

Other standard items are six airbags and a comprehensive Hyundai SmartSense suite of active safety features that include Forward and Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, Leading Vehicle Departure Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Safe Exit Warning and High Beam Assist.

The vehicle also comes with a full five-star Asean NCAP safety rating.

Sime Darby Motors managing director of retail and distribution for Malaysia Jeffrey Gan said the Creta builds on the popularity of compact SUVs which are able to offer much practicality and space within a small footprint.

HSDM managing director Low Yuan Lung said the Creta is aimed at the young as well as the young-at-heart with its distinctive combination of contemporary design, connected technology and comprehensive active safety features.

“Optimised for the Asia- Pacific market, this B-segment SUV also offers the practicality, space and convenience to suit active lifestyles,” he said.
