Available in the compact 90 and the long wheelbase 110 variants, the new Defender has also achieved critical acclaim and won at least 28 international awards.

The latest Defender comes with an ultra-stiff aluminium-intensive body construction engineered to cope with rugged landscapes.

It also gets advanced assisting technologies which include Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist and Rear Collision Monitor.

Even as the Defender is set to launch in Malaysia, Land Rover is already out testing a longer-wheelbase version in Europe.

Known as the 130, the three-row Defender will be 342mm longer  than the 110 and will be able to seat up to eight people. There are already spy photos of the largest Defender yet undergoing testing.
