KUALA LUMPUR: Suzuki Malaysia Sdn Bhd recently unveiled the all-new DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM, marking the return of its iconic dual-sport platform with two distinct offerings tailored for versatility and performance.
These motorcycles are designed for both daily practicality and weekend adventure, the DR-Z4S delivers true dual-purpose capability handling paved roads and off-road terrain.
In contrast, the DR-Z4SM brings a sharper, supermoto character, built for urban agility and spirited cornering on tarmac.
Both bikes are powered by a 398cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine, now enhanced with fuel injection, ride-by-wire throttle and dual spark plugs, producing 37.5hp.
Compliant with Euro 5+ standards, the engine offers improved efficiency, smoother delivery and refined throttle response.
Equipped with the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (SIRS), the bikes feature a three-mode Suzuki Drive Mode Selector, four-mode traction control including Gravel mode, and switchable ABS allowing riders to adapt performance to varying terrains and conditions.
Dual-purpose DR-Z4S runs on a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel setup for superior off-road control and stability, while the supermoto DR-Z4SM adopts 17-inch wheels front and rear for sharper handling and enhanced grip on paved roads.
DR-Z4S is available in Champion Yellow and Solid Iron Gray, while the DR-Z4SM comes in Sky Gray and Solid Special White.
Both are priced at RM42,888, excluding registration, insurance and road tax.
