Allianz General to revamp auto repairers panel

KUALA LUMPUR: Allianz General Insurance Company is seeking PIAM Approved Repairers Scheme (PARS) workshops nationwide to join its panel of authorised repairers this year.

Invitations have been sent to all PARS workshops nationwide on Aug 12 via the Merimen Online website, a digital platform for the insurance industry.

Interested PARS workshops are required to submit their applications by Aug 17.

Allianz General Head of Claims Damian Williams said that the Company is looking to revamp its current panel of authorised repairers in efforts to improve customer service to comprehensive policyholders.

Allianz General operates a 24-hour accident service, the Allianz Road Rangers.

Launched in the Klang Valley in 2017 and available nationwide since 2018, the Allianz Road Rangers service features seven touch points – a 24-hours helpline, the Allianz Road Ranger fleet (First Response Bike Brigade and Allianz Tow Truck), claims concierge service, e-hailing voucher, claims express approval, and vehicle delivery.

Since its launch, the Allianz Road Rangers has served over 240,000 Allianz General customers nationwide up to June.
