Here's what Alpina did to the latest BMW 7 Series
MUNICH: Boutique German car company Alpina has taken the wraps off its flagship superfast luxury sedan.
Based on the current generation BMW 7 Series, the B7 keeps the standard car's high tech features but jettisons the powerplant in favour of its own twin-turbo V8. This engine gives the B7 a 0-100kph time of just 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 310kph.

To help use more of this phenomenal turn of speed more of the time, the B7 has an eight-speed sports automatic transmission, four-wheel drive and a completely re-worked suspension system.
The car will make its real-world debut at the Geneva Motorshow in March and will be available to order from September when pricing and further specifications will be announced.
Alpina is based in Buchloe, a Bavarian city located 72km west of here.
