American wheels and Harleys hit Kuala Lumpur
By A. NACHI | 15 July 2020KUALA LUMPUR: Route 77 Harley-Davidson of Kuala Lumpur, located at Jalan Ampang here, recently organised the American Cars Meets Motorcycle Drive & Ride event.
The event gathered American cars and Harley-Davidson owners for a day out in the city.
Ten classic American cars and 50 Harley-Davidson motorcycles took part in this event which included a drive and ride of 45km around Kuala Lumpur.
The thunderous sound of these macho machines definitely got the city folks' attention.
They also made a stopover at Dataran Merdeka for the public to have a closer look at these beautiful American steel.
On display were a 1967 Ford Mustang, 1967 Chevrolet Impala, 1976 Chevrolet El Camino, 1968 Ford Mustang GT390 and 1977 Pontiac Grand Prix.
Not to forget the Harley-Davidson motorcycle models such as the Ultra Glide, Fat Boy, Sportster and Trike (three-wheeler) to name a few.
In conjunction with the event, Route 77 HDKL launched the “Worry Free” sales campaign - a 3 Years Free Service & Warranty programme for any Harley-Davidson motorcycle bought from July 1-Aug 31.
