Aston Martin and Lego release Technic Valkyrie hypercar model

LONDON: Aston Martin and the Lego Group have introduced the Lego Technic Aston Martin Valkyrie, a detailed set made up of over 700 pieces that replicates the design and engineering of the Valkyrie hypercar.

The toy car features working gullwing doors, steering controlled by a top-mounted lever, and a detailed V12 engine with moving pistons and a functional differential.

These elements are designed to offer an engaging building experience to automotive and Lego enthusiasts alike.

Available from June 1 at €59.99 (RM292), the 707-piece set from Denmark's Lego is a buildable car model that measures over 7cm high, 29cm long and 13cm wide.

The real-world Valkyrie is a road-legal hypercar developed using Formula 1 technology in collaboration with engineer Adrian Newey, who now contributes to the Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 Team.

It is equipped with radical aerodynamic components and advanced engineering solutions, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100kph in 2.5 seconds and generate 1,124hp.

The car is widely regarded as one of the most extreme hypercars in production.

The launch of the Lego Technic model comes amid a broader partnership between Lego Technic and the Gameloft Asphalt Legends Unite gaming platform.

The Lego Technic Aston Martin Valkyrie is available globally through Lego’s official website.
