SHANGHAI: At Auto Shanghai 2025, the Changan Mazda Motor Corp joint venture unveiled the new Mazda EZ-60 crossover SUV.
The EZ-60 is the second new energy vehicle (NEV) developed and manufactured by Changan Mazda, following the EZ-6 launched last year under the "Yu Dian Xin Jing” (breaking new ground with electric vehicles) theme.
The EZ-60 will go on sale in China in 2025, and offered in battery electric vehicle (BEV) and plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV) models.
Mazda says air passageways at the tip of the hood and other points create a futuristic impression and contribute to excellent aerodynamic characteristics.
It features a 50:50 front/rear weight distribution for the PHEV model, and 47:53 for the BEV model as well as strut suspension at the front and multi-link suspension at the rear, and electronically controlled dampers.
Driving range, using the CLTC mode, is around 600km for the BEV model and more than 1,000km per refueling for the PHEV model.

The interior features a 26.45-inch 5K integrated flat-panel center display and a virtual 3D heads-up display.
The high-end audio system has 23 speakers and a 3D sound system.
In addition, headrest speakers allow the driver and front passenger to listen to different music.
Smart features include functions that can be operated by voice, touch, or gesture; intelligent drive systems to help the driver avoid an accident or reduce damage; and intelligent parking that can be operated by voice even from outside the vehicle.
