Autoguard Group is EV warranty provider for PERIKLINDO

KUALA LUMPUR: Autoguard Group Asia-Pacific (APAC) is set to serve as the preferred EV (electric vehicle) warranty provider for the Indonesian Electric Vehicle Industry Association (PERIKLINDO).

This appointment was recently cemented through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing ceremony held at the PERIKLINDO Electric Vehicle Conference (PEVC) 2026 at the Mövenpick Hotel Jakarta City Centre.

By aligning with Indonesia's largest EV association, Autoguard Group APAC is positioned as the leading aftersales partner of choice for OEMs (original equipment manufacturers), vehicle importers, and the broader automotive ecosystem seeking advanced extended warranty solutions.

More importantly, the MoU highlights the company’s distinct capability to support and scale alongside the region's rapidly growing EV market.

Autoguard Group APAC, with its regional headquarters based in Kuala Lumpur, aims to serve the broader Asia-Pacific market, which remains a key focal point for its global expansion.

Autoguard Group APAC business development director Jamie Francis Morais said, "This MoU is a demonstration of our commitment to this thriving region. Collaborating with an industry pillar like PERIKLINDO to develop dedicated EV warranty solutions validates our ongoing mission to establish Autoguard as the trusted aftersales partner of choice."

"Backed by our recent technological investments in streamlined claims processing along with our expertise, our commitment to enhancing opportunities through our global warranty solutions, and our relentless focus on end-user service excellence, we are well-equipped to add exceptional value to the automotive aftersales market as the EV transition accelerates."

The MoU signing was a centrepiece of PEVC 2026, Indonesia’s leading electric vehicle industry conference organised by PERIKLINDO in collaboration with Gemalindo.

Relocating to Jakarta to accommodate a growing network of strategic partners, the event hosted 500 key representatives, including policymakers, corporate leaders, venture capitalists, and international delegates from China, Taiwan, South Korea, and other prominent markets.

Designed as an international strategic forum, PEVC 2026 aims to shape the future of green mobility, strengthen Indonesia's role in the global EV supply chain, and drive electrified economic development.

Under the theme “The Future of a Clean and Efficient Mobility,” the conference showcased the latest EV technologies.
