Bad timing if you want to buy a Lambo Huracan — car is sold out
By DPA | 27 May 2023
ROME: The V10-engined Lamborghini Huracan will remain in the catalogue until the end of next year, but any buyers hoping to secure one will need to be brave: The entire production is sold out.
Such sell-outs are common with limited edition supercars, of which usually only a few hundred enter the market, but regular production models are rarely spoken for so far in advance.
A replacement for the Huracan is set to arrive in late 2024, and until then, all models from the original production run have been snapped up.
Experts say enthusiasm for the ultra-quick Lambo has been spurred by the news that the next supercar from the marque will be an all-new model with a downsized petrol engine mated to an electric motor.
The Huracan has been in the catalogue since 2014 and uses a normally-aspirated V10 petrol engine. It carries a price tag of around €190,000 (RM935,000).
Even in stock trim, the Huracan — or hurricane in Spanish — can streak from 0 to 100kph in 2.5 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 341 kph.
