KUALA LUMPUR: Batik Air will reintroduce the exclusive Private Terminal Transfer service for business class passengers, now enhanced through a partnership with Leapmotor Malaysia — the first New Energy Vehicle (NEV) brand introduced by Stellantis Malaysia.
With the aim of reinforcing the airline's commitment to sustainability and seamless travel, the partnership will use a fleet of Leapmotor C10 all-electric sports utility vehicles (SUVs).
The private transfer service ensures a seamless and comfortable journey between the Main Terminal Building and the Satellite Building at KLIA Terminal 1.
Passengers will be chauffeured between Gate G1 at the Main Terminal Building and Gate C1 at the Satellite Building, enjoying a smooth and effortless transition.
With the addition of five C10 vehicles dedicated to this service, waiting times will be significantly reduced while enhancing the premium travel experience.
This service also continues to complement the existing bus transfer provided by Malaysia Airports (MAHB) during the temporary suspension of the aerotrain service.
The C10 is Leapmotor's pioneering models on the global stage and is an innovative product of the Stellantis and Leapmotor collaboration.

Batik Air chief executive officer Datuk Chandran Rama Muthy said that the partnership would provide an innovative and sustainable solution that enhances the journey for its business class passengers.
"Travel should be effortless, and at Batik Air, we believe our Business Class guests deserve nothing less. This VIP Transfer Service isn’t just about moving between terminals but also about redefining the journey with innovation, care and a touch of exclusivity.
"True hospitality begins the moment our guests arrive at the airport, and this initiative ensures that every step of their experience is as smooth, refined and seamless as the destination that awaits them," he said.
Stellantis Asean managing director Isaac Yeo said the C10 redefines premium travel by delivering unparalleled comfort and sophistication for discerning passengers.
"As the world’s fourth-largest automaker and a leader in mobility solutions, Stellantis remains committed to innovation, sustainability, and engineering excellence," he said.
