MELAKA: A factory safety officer in Alor Gajah made a buzzworthy discovery when he found a beehive inside his motorcycle helmet.
Alor Gajah Civil Defence Force operations officer Leftenan (PA) Abdul Hadi Baharom said the safety officer was about to return home on Saturday afternoon when he saw a swarm of bees inside his helmet.
"The safety officer had parked his motorcycle at the parking bay of the factory in the morning," he said today.
Abdul Hadi said four personnel were despatched to smoke out the bees from the helmet, and it was achieved shortly.
Abdul Hadi said this was the first time his men had to deal with such an emergency.
"We have managed cases relating to beehives on top of trees and ceilings of houses but this is the first time we are attending to such a peculiar case."
