Bentley to unveil most dynamic Bentayga with drift-ready V8 on June 2

LONDON: Bentley will reveal its most powerful and engaging Bentayga yet on June 2, introducing a non-hybrid twin-turbocharged V8 that eclipses the output of the outgoing W12-engined Bentayga Speed.

Early indications suggest the new powerplant will deliver over 626hp and enable a sprint from 0–100kph in under 3.9 seconds, shaving nearly half a second from the previous V8 model’s 4.4 second run.

Externally, the SUV is distinguished by two oval-shaped tailpipes integrated into a newly sculpted rear diffuser and sports a factory-fitted Akrapovic exhaust system alongside discreet black badging.

Bentley has also calibrated a more extreme SPORT mode coupled with an ESC Dynamic setting, a first for the marque’s top-tier performance SUV, which is said to permit controlled drift angles where conditions allow.

The forthcoming Bentayga aims to combine flagship performance with Bentley’s hallmark refinement, promising sharper handling and a more visceral driving experience.

The updated chassis tuning and electronic stability control enhancements are expected to yield a more engaging drive without compromising the limousine-like comfort that defines the Bentayga range.

Production details and pricing will be disclosed at the global debut next month, with customer deliveries later in the year.
