BHPetrol welcomes applications for SKDS 2.0 fleet card
By CARSIFU | 27 May 2024KLANG: BHPetrol attended the recent SKDS 2.0 fleet card handover ceremony organised by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Costs of Living (KPDN), at the Klang North Rest Area, New North Klang Straits Bypass, Selangor.
A total of 15 land transport companies, along with representatives from oil and gas companies, received the SKDS 2.0 Fleet Card from Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali, Minister of KPDN.
This involved various types of vehicles such as general cargo rigid trucks, Luton/Box rigid trucks, panel vans, refrigerated rigid trucks and prime movers.
As of 22 May 2024, a total of 28,000 land transport companies have registered and been approved for the implementation of SKDS 2.0.
Additionally, the issuance of fleet cards by five major oil companies to eligible transportation companies has reached nearly 90,000 cards since the announcement made by KPDN on 7 March 2024.
As of today, KPDN will continue to accept applications from all types of eligible public and goods transport companies via https://mysubsidi.kpdn.gov.my/.
The application criteria that must be met by companies are:
⦁ The company must be registered in Malaysia;
⦁ The vehicle must have valid road tax; and
⦁ Only vehicles eligible under SKDS 2.0
Companies approved under SKDS 2.0 can apply for the fleet card through the oil and gas companies such as BHPetrol.

Notably, BHPetrol is a Government-Linked Investment Company (GLIC) and a subsidiary of the Armed Forces Fund Board (LTAT).
