KUALA LUMPUR: BMW Group Malaysia today announced new price lists for the BMW and MINI range of vehicles, saying it was to enable greater customer personalisation of their ownership experience.

The new pricing structure presents BMW customers with a lower recommended retail price that comes with a standard two-year warranty.

For an additional charge, customers can choose to buy either the 5 Years Unlimited Mileage Warranty Package or the 5 Years / 100,000km Service Package. Customers may also opt to buy the car with the 5 Years Unlimited Mileage Warranty with Free Scheduled Service (“Extended Warranty & Service Package”) as before at no added cost.

BMW Group Malaysia said the rationale for the new price structure is to "offer our dealers and customers greater flexibility in terms of customisable specifications and warranty on their BMW and MINI vehicles."

Customers can customise their orders online at BMW Shop Online and MINI Online Shop.

Similar to BMW, MINI car prices are also revised downwards with the optional add-on warranties. Customers can buy a MINI with the 4 Years Unlimited Mileage Warranty with Free Scheduled Service (“Extended Warranty & Service Package”) at the same cost as before.

Alternatively, customers who prefer to purchase their vehicle at the RRP paired with either the 4 Years Unlimited Mileage Warranty Package or 4 Years / 60,000km Service Package, can do so at a more attractive rate.
