SERDANG: BMW Group Malaysia today announced the arrival of the electrified all-new CE 02, alongside three premium motorcycles in the Adventure segment - BMW F 900 GS, R 1300 GS and S 1000 XR.

The retail price (on the road, with BMW Motorrad Malaysia’s All-New 3-Year Warranty and 3-Year Roadside Assistance Programmes, without insurance) for the latest lineup are:

With the Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, ownership of the All-New BMW CE 02, New BMW F 900 GS and New BMW S 1000 XR starts from RM578, RM1,318 and RM1,928 per month respectively.

Meanwhile, the New BMW R 1300 GS and New BMW 1300 GS with Option 719 start from RM2,068 and RM2,228 per month respectively.

These estimates are based on Balloon Financing with a 90% loan over a 4-year tenure.

The All-New BMW CE 02

The All-New BMW CE 02 premium e-motorcycle features large wheels designed for durability and promises exhilarating rides across diverse terrains.

Sporting a sleek aesthetic, the vehicle showcases a black frame, wheels, front fender, and triple clamp fairing at the top, complemented by a granite grey metallic matt engine cover.

At the forefront of the All-New BMW CE 02, hydraulically damped telescopic forks expertly guide the front wheel, while a single-sided swingarm and directly pivoted shock absorber graces the rear.

The vehicle’s wide tyres are mounted on cast light alloy wheels in a striking disc wheel design, complemented by disc brakes ensuring secure deceleration both at the front and rear.

With a focus on dynamic riding experiences for swift handling and agile manoeuvring, this premium e-motorcycle boasts a lightweight build of only 132 kg.

It boasts a maximum power output of 11 kW (15 hp) and 55 Nm of torque. This allows for stop-and-go acceleration from 0 to 50 km/h in approximately 3 seconds.

The All-New BMW CE 02 reaches a top speed of 95 km/h. Equipped with a 6kWh lithium-ion battery, riders can enjoy a generous maximum range of 100 km.

Charging the battery is a breeze with the included 900W external charger, ensuring convenient charging at standard household sockets.

Moreover, quick charging capabilities of up to 1500W can reduce charging time to approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, from 20% to 80% charge, while a complete 0 to 100% charge will take 3 hours and 30 minutes, offering even more flexibility for riders on the go.

On the road, the All-New BMW CE 02 features a 3.5-inch TFT colour display, offering extensive connectivity through the BMW Motorrad Connect Application.

The New BMW F 900 GS.

The New BMW F 900 GS sees a significant weight reduction of 14 kg compared to its predecessor, now weighing in at 219 kg, positioning it as a notably sporty variant in the premium mid-range touring segment.

With a larger low beam opening angle and improved illumination directly in front of the motorcycle, LED technology with daytime running light and LED indicators provide optimal safety by illuminating turn indicators and control lights effectively.

A refreshed exterior showcases a redesigned fuel tank, contributing to a slimmer and ergonomically favourable design with a capacity of 14.5 litres.

Enhancing its dynamic appeal, a sporty rear silencer by Akrapovič complements the motorcycle's overall aesthetics.

Incorporating even more versatility and performance enhancements, the New BMW F 900 GS now offers the Enduro Pro Package, which includes a fully adjustable titanium nitride-coated upside-down telescopic forks, fully adjustable central spring strut, sport frame, black handlebar, handlebar riser, as well as an M-Endurance chain, further refining the motorcycle's off-road capabilities and durability.

The New BMW F 900 GS features adjustable foot brake and gear levers, allowing riders to tailor their riding experience to their preferences and needs.

Available in Sao Paulo Yellow and Racing Blue Metallic, the New BMW F 900 GS offers striking colour options to match its bold design and performance capabilities.

Powering the New BMW F 900 GS is the further developed two-cylinder in-line engine that was first introduced in 2018 with the BMW F 850 GS, now with 77 kW (105 hp) at 8.500 rpm.

The engine also offers 93 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm. The increase in performance and the fuller torque are achieved by increasing the capacity to 895 cc (previously 853 cc) by enlarging the cylinder bore.

With a firing interval of 270/450 degrees, the engine emits a particularly emotive sound, enhancing the overall riding experience.

Additionally, the New BMW F 900 GS accelerates to a top speed of over 200 km/h, further cementing its status for exhilarating rides and unmatched performance.

With a 6.5-inch TFT display as standard, the New BMW F 900 GS sees a significant upgrade from the previous analogue display found in the F series.

The gearbox is positioned beneath the engine alongside a new camshaft drive arrangement, which allows this powerplant to deliver an exceptional performance.

With a displacement of precisely 1,300 cc, it boasts an impressive output of 107 kW (145 hp) at 7,750 rpm, coupled with a maximum torque of 149 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

This makes it the most powerful BMW boxer engine ever produced in series.

Due to BMW GS’ iconic boxer engine that has long been the undisputed leader in its class, the New BMW R 1300 GS maintains this leadership into the future with an entirely new design that results to an impressive weight reduction of 12 kg, with a total weight of just 237 kg.
