KUALA LUMPUR: BMW Group Malaysia reaffirmed its support for the Government's commitment to sustainability, as the chairman of Asean 2025.
The company said it had supplied premium electric vehicles (EVs) to the Malaysian government’s fleet throughout the year.
The addition of the BMW i7 xDrive60 M Sport and the i5 eDrive40 M Sport to the government's fleet during Asean 2025 aligns with Malaysia's National Energy Transition Roadmap.
The company also said it is providing a strong model for other Asean member states to pursue similar sustainable pathways and collaborations – directly supporting the chairmanship’s theme of "Inclusivity and sustainability."
As the Leading Provider of Premium Electric Vehicles in Malaysia, BMW Group Malaysia continues to support initiatives that advocate sustainability and innovation through its comprehensive EV portfolio, strategic partnerships, and commitment to technology openness.
EVs represent a critical step forward in reducing emissions and advancing the adoption of sustainable technologies across the Asean.
