KUALA LUMPUR: The mission to install more electric chargers continue.
Two new BMW i Wallbox chargers have popped up at The Datai Langkawi resort
BMW Group Malaysia worked with its dealer, Tian Siang Premium Auto, to install the 11kW AC chargers at the entrance of the Langkawi beach resort, which are limited for use to its guests.
Tian Siang Premium Auto managing director Tan Ka Kin said a total of 12 charging facilities are now available across the northern regions of Malaysia with the latest addition.
The partnership with the dealer and the resort highlights BMW's commitment to providing a premium electric ownership experience to all electric vehicle owners across the country, said BMW Group Malaysia corporate communications chief Sashi Ambi.
To promote electromobility on the island, guests of The Datai Langkawi are also invited to experience the BMW iX through a limited-time test drive opportunity.
