KUALA LUMPUR: The new BMW M340i xDrive M Sport Pro has been unveiled, and comes with hallmark M Performance elements.
The recommended retail pricing (on the road, without insurance) is RM388,800.
Buyers can add-on RM26,400 for the five-year extended warranty and service package.
It is the most powerful variant in the series, and is assembled at BMW Group Malaysia’s plant in Kulim, Kedah.

At the core of the new M340i xDrive M Sport Pro is a 3.0-litre BMW TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder engine, delivering 285kW (387hp) and 500Nm of torque.
Paired with an eight-speed Steptronic Sport Transmission and BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system, it accelerates from 0-100kph in just 4.4 seconds, with a top speed of 250kph.
The car also features Adaptive M Suspension, M sport differential and Variable Sport Steering as standard.
At the front, the signature kidney grille is paired with Adaptive LED headlights with High Beam Assistant.
The M Aerodynamics package comes as standard.
The rear features dual exhaust tailpipes and an M rear spoiler.
Riding on 19-inch M light alloy wheels, the M340i xDrive M Sport Pro’s exterior is finished with M high-gloss Shadowline.
Inside, there are Sensatec upholstery and powered front sports seats with memory function.
Adding to the sporty interior are furnishing such as M seat belts, Aluminium Rhombicle Anthracite M interior trim, M headline anthracite and three-spoke M leather steering wheel with 12 o’ clock marker.
There is an updated tyre pressure indicator, while the driver-oriented BMW Curved Display integrates a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and 14.9-inch touchscreen control display, powered by the latest BMW Operating System 8.5.
The 16-speaker, 464-Watt Harmon Kardon Surround Sound System offers unparalleled audio clarity.
Other standard features are interior rear-view mirror with anti-dazzle function, ambient light, electric glass roof, storage compartment package and through-loading system.
Driver assistance systems include the Driving Assistant, offering features such as Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision Warning with brake intervention that helps mitigate potential collisions, while Active Cruise Control with Stop&Go Function adjusts to changes in traffic flow.
Meanwhile, Parking Assistant Plus ensures confident manoeuvring, offering surround view, reverse camera, and automatic parallel or perpendicular parking.
For connectivity, there are BMW Live Cockpit Professional, ConnectedDrive Services, Connected Package Professional, Teleservices, Intelligent Emergency Call, Smartphone Integration, and Personal eSIM functionality.
The car also comes standard with automatic operation of tailgate and Comfort Access System.
With the Easy Drive Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, the M340i xDrive M Sport Pro can be owned with a monthly instalment plan starting from RM4,395 respectively (based on estimates of an 80% loan on a 5-Year tenure), with complimentary replacement car programme and BMW 1st year Comprehensive Motor Insurance rebate of RM5,000.
Meanwhile, with the Straight-Line Financing Plan, the monthly instalment plan starts from RM4,587 (based on estimates of an 80% loan on a 7-Year tenure).
