KUALA LUMPUR: The new BMW F 900 GS Adventure sets a new standard for versatile, off-road-ready explorers.
The recommended retail price (on the road, with BMW Motorrad Malaysia's 3-year warranty and 3-year Roadside Assistance programmes, without insurance) is RM95,500.
With the Straight Line Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia (based on estimates of a 90% loan on a 7-year tenure), ownership starts from RM1,338 per month.
The new BMW F 900 GS Adventure is available in White-Aluminium Matt.
It features new GS-logo side panels, a comfort seat in black and grey, white-aluminium radiator covers with new tape detailing, and a body-colour tank cover in white-aluminium.
BMW Group Malaysia managing director Benjamin Nagel shared, “The new F 900 GS Adventure is designed for those seeking boundless exploration whether off the trail or in long distance tours, by offering advanced technology and versatility.”
The new 895cc, 2-cylinder, 4-stroke inline engine delivers 77kW (105hp) at 8,500rpm and 93Nm of torque at 6,750rpm.
This allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100kph in just 3.7 seconds with a top speed beyond 200kph.
The F 900 GS Adventure now comes standard with a fully adjustable (spring preload, bound and rebound) upside-down fork offering 230mm of spring travel.
This allows for precise tuning without tools, improving handling and stability to suit various riding conditions – whether on or off-road, solo, with a passenger, or carrying extra luggage.
To further enhance comfort and protection, it is equipped as standard with heated grips, durable plastic handguards and an engine protection aluminum skid plate.
Additionally, an adjustable aluminum gearshift lever further enhances ergonomics.
Meanwhile, the standard inclusion of the Ride Pro package enhances the F 900 GS Adventure across several aspects.
It comes with a main stand, luggage rack featuring aluminum case holders and M Endurance chain.
LED headlights with daytime running lights and auxiliary headlights ensure superior visibility, providing added safety on in all terrains, while country-specific light control optimises lighting performance for diverse environments.
Shift Assistant Pro, Dynamic ESA and Prep. Navigation system are also standard.
Finally, Riding Modes Pro is also equipped as standard, featuring Rain, Road, Dynamic, Enduro and Enduro Pro modes.
