BMW R 1300 GS: Adaptive Height Control on Triple Black and GS Trophy

KUALA LUMPUR: The BMW R 1300 GS is now enhanced with the new Adaptive Height Control as standard, in both its Triple Black and GS Trophy variants.

The new R 1300 GS had debuted at the Malaysia Autoshow in 2024, and is billed as setting the benchmark for performance, control, and rider comfort in the adventure touring segment.

Its retail price (on the road, with BMW Motorrad Malaysia’s three-year warranty and roadside assistance programmes, without insurance) is RM140,500.

The Adaptive Height Control feature supplements everyday rideability by intelligently adjusting the motorcycle’s suspension based on movement.

When stationary or at low speeds, the system lowers the vehicle height to improve ground accessibility and rider’s convenience.

As speed increases, the system automatically raises the chassis to the standard ride height for optimal ergonomics and handling.

This transition ensures greater comfort, control, and safety across diverse riding conditions, without compromising performance.

With the financing plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, ownership of the R 1300 GS starts from RM1,968 per month.

These estimates are based on Straight Line Financing with a 90% loan over a seven-year tenure.

Owners can also enjoy additional benefits with premium engine oil inclusive, service inclusive and warranty extension programmes by BMW Motorrad Malaysia.
