KUALA LUMPUR: The latest-generation BMW R 1300 GS Adventure is billed as the most capable GS ever built, with an entirely reimagined look.
BMW Motorrad Malaysia has announced the official prices which are RM148,500 (Racing Red), RM153,500 (Triple Black or Style GS Trophy), and RM164,500 (Option 719 Karakorum).
These are recommended retail prices (on the road, with BMW Motorrad Malaysia's three-year warranty and three-year Roadside Assistance Programmes, without insurance).
In a statement, BMW Motorrad Malaysia said the iconic adventure motorcycle marks a bold new chapter in the GS legacy, engineered to deliver unmatched performance, versatility, and touring comfort both on and off the road.
The new-generation GS Adventure sets a new benchmark for long-distance touring, with a completely redesigned engine, chassis, bodywork, and storage concept.
The twin-cylinder boxer engine is once again at the heart of the new R 1300 GS Adventure.
It generates 107kW (145hp) from 1,300cc at 7,750rpm, while maximum torque is 149Nm at 6,500rpm, making it by far the most powerful BMW boxer engine ever to be produced in series.
Complementing the boxer engine is the BMW ShiftCam technology for optimal performance and fuel efficiency, while offering superior torque across the full rev range.
With the Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, ownership of the R 1300 GS Adventure starts from RM2,078 per month, respectively (based on the Straight Line Financing estimates of an 90% loan on a seven-year tenure).
