KUALA LUMPUR: BMW Motorrad’s latest touring model arrives with prices starting from RM165,500 on-the-road, without insurance.
The new BMW R 1300 RT is priced, with BMW Motorrad Malaysia's 3-year warranty and 3-year Roadside Assistance Programme, at:

With the Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, ownership of the R 1300 RT starts from RM2,308 per month (based on the Straight Line Financing estimates of an 90% loan on a 7-year tenure).
This latest iteration of the RT features an innovative chassis, adjustable ergonomics, and advanced electronic systems.
It is powered by a 1,300cc twin cylinder boxer engine producing 107kW (145hp) and 149Nm of torque, with a maximum engine speed of 9,000rpm.
The engine features BMW ShiftCam technology for variable valve timing and stroke, delivering maximum efficiency at cruising speeds and instant torque on demand.
New 17-inch hollow-spoke cast aluminium wheels arrive as standard equipment, weighing in 1.4 kg lighter than before.
EVO Telelever and EVO Paralever suspension systems deliver 149mm front and 158mm rear spring travel, with electronic adjustability for rebound, compression, and spring rate.
Dynamic Chassis Adaption (DCA), available with the Dynamic Package, enables two distinct riding geometries that adjust electronically based on mode and speed.
Standard on all variants is a full LED headlamp with 12 LEDs for low beam and 5 for high beam.
This is supplemented by the standard Headlight Pro system, featuring adaptive cornering lights and pitch compensation, as well as Adaptive Light Modes for speed-sensitive beam alignment and intensity.
Three standard riding modes (Rain, Road, and Eco) are complemented by Riding Modes Pro, offering Dynamic and Dynamic Pro modes for customised performance.
The R 1300 RT features a 10.25-inch full-colour TFT display with hardened anti-reflective glass that provides full-screen or split-screen views for navigation, vehicle data, and media.
The new Connectivity Hub supports wearables like heated jackets and smart glasses via Bluetooth and WLAN.
The refined 2.0 audio platform comes standard, featuring DAB/DAB+ radio, adaptive sound profiles, Bluetooth streaming, and helmet audio integration.
The new Audio Pro system, standard on both Limited Edition variants, adds four-channel speaker control and adaptive audio balance.
Touring functionality is supported by standard electrified side cases (27L, expandable to 33L via optional Vario system), with interior lighting and central locking.
Additional storage is available through optional 39L and 54L topcases, the latter with electric operation and a heated backrest.
Safety systems include Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Engine Drag Torque Control (MSR), Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), and BMW Motorrad Integral ABS Pro, delivering consistent, responsive braking.
The Dynamic Package adds enhanced performance and control, including features such as Dynamic Chassis Adaption (DCA), Riding Modes Pro, Sports Brake System and Automated Shift Assistant (ASA).
The Riding Assistant package includes Active Cruise Control (ACC) with automatic distance regulation, Front Collision Warning (FCW) with brake intervention, Lane Change Warning (SWW) to assist with blind spot awareness.
The Standard variant finished in Alpine White, showcases a brushed stainless steel rear silencer, polished stainless steel manifold, tubular handlebars, and a fuel tank finished in Mineral Grey metallic matt.
The Triple Black variant arrives in Blackstorm Metallic, featuring a Dark Chrome exhaust manifold, forged handlebars, and a high touring windshield.
The Impulse variant is painted in Racing Blue metallic, with special features including a sports windshield, and design option wheels as standard, along with a unique variable slipstream deflector that is exclusive to this variant.
The Triple Black Limited Edition and the Impulse Limited Edition include the full Comfort Package as standard, including Central Locking, a Main Centre Stand, Anti-Theft alarm system and the electrified variable luggage system.
The Audio Pro system also comes as standard, delivering four-channel audio channeled through premium-grade speakers.
The Triple Black Limited Edition and the Impulse Limited Edition variants will be available in only five units each nationwide.
