PETALING JAYA: BMW Motorrad Malaysia is set to unveil the new BMW R 18 Roctane at the BMW Premium Selection Showcase 2024.
Price is estimated at RM160,000.
As the fifth model in the Heritage family, the Roctane blends classic design elements with modern riding technology, promising a unique touring experience.
Drawing inspiration from iconic BMW models like the R 5, the Roctane prioritises no-frills technology centred around its air-cooled two-cylinder four-stroke boxer engine.
It features a double-loop tubular steel frame and well-balanced ergonomics, including a "mid-mounted foot peg" configuration and a two-level seat.
The Roctane arrives in Mineral Grey Metallic and Manhattan Metallic Matt colourways, emphasising its rebellious character.
Powered by a traditional boxer engine with an output of 67kW/91hp and a peak torque of 150 Nm, it boasts riding assistance features like automatic stability control and three standard riding modes.
Optional features include adaptive headlight and hill start control, enhancing the overall riding experience.
The BMW Premium Selection Showcase 2024 will take place from March 1-3 at Bukit Jalil National Stadium, Kuala Lumpur.
