KUALA LUMPUR: Volvo Car Malaysia has opened bookings for the refreshed XC60, which features new additions such as an athletic and elegant front grille, Volvo air suspension system, and the latest intuitive technology.
The refreshed XC60 premium mid-size sport utility vehicle (SUV) is offered in two electrified variants, namelyT8 AWD plug-in hybrid or PHEV (from RM367,888 estimated) and B5 AWD mild hybrid (from RM333,888 estimated)
Since its introduction locally, more than 6,200 units have been delivered.
“The XC60 continues to be our most popular model in Malaysia, and for good reason,” said Volvo Car Malaysia managing director Chris Wailes.
“It represents everything Volvo stands for — elegant designs, uncompromising safety, and powertrain versatility. Whether customers prefer a plug-in hybrid or a mild hybrid, the XC60 is our way of providing a sophisticated, sustainable drive to suit every lifestyle.”

The refreshed XC60 T8 AWD PHEV offers up to 89km of pure electric driving (WLTP).
The petrol engine delivers over 450Nm of torque, ensuring responsive performance for longer journeys.
The refreshed XC60 B5 mild hybrid recovers braking energy to support the petrol engine, thus lowering fuel consumption and emissions.
All variants come equipped with Volvo’s latest intelligent safety technologies, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and collision avoidance.
Combined with Volvo’s renowned safety cage construction, the XC60 continues to deliver class-leading protection.
As for the XC60’s refreshed design, a new diagonal mesh grille compliments the signature ‘Thor Hammer’ LED headlights, and darkened rear lamps contribute to a more assertive presence.

Also, there are new wheel designs and a curated selection of exterior colours – Forest Lake and Bright Dusk.
Meanwhile, Volvo’s air suspension system is offered as a complimentary feature in the PHEV variant, for a limited time.
There are new interior enhancements such as reconfigured cupholders and flexible cargo spaces, while wireless charging has been repositioned for improved ergonomics.
The XC60 now features advanced air purification technology that filters out up to 95% of harmful particles.
The refreshed XC60 also has a new 11.2-inch freestanding display, powered by Google built-in, offering access to navigation via Google Maps, voice commands through Google Assistant, and a range of apps including Spotify and Waze.
The Bowers & Wilkins High Fidelity sound system delivers a concert-level listening experience.
