PETALING JAYA: The latest engine oil products from Bosch Mobility Aftermarket (MA) has received official certification from SIRIM QAS International.
The certification ensures compliance with the new requirements set by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) under the Trade Descriptions (Certification and Marking of Engine Oil for Motor Vehicle) Order 2024.
It marks a significant step forward in safeguarding lubricant quality and protecting consumers.

Bosch's fully synthetic oils for petrol engines meet the latest API SP & SN standards, while the semi-synthetic range complies with API SP & SN+.
For diesel engines, the dedicated oil meets the API CI-4 standard.

The certification comes at a timely moment, strengthening Bosch Mobility Aftermarket’s ongoing “Driver’s Choice: Ask for Bosch” campaign to protect Malaysian motorists through high-quality, reliable aftermarket products, including lubricants.
Fully aligned with KPDN’s scheduled enforcement actions by end-October 2026, which mandate that all lubricant products carry valid SIRIM certification, this proactive step reinforces Bosch’s commitment to market compliance, driving out imitation products.
