PETALING JAYA: The stars are in alignment, it seems. And it's a good time to whip up sales. Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia announced today that the Road Transport Department has started the "VW" car registration series, so those who buy a Volkswagen in the next few days will be one of the lucky few to own the car with a VW number plate.
Customers who are interested should visit their nearest dealers to find out more or to place a booking before the "VW" series ends.
In a related development, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia also said the ongoing trade-in programme for the Jetta and Passat is due to end on March 31. For those pre-booking the soon-to-be launched new Tiguan, there is a limited early bird discounts, which ends April 31. The Polo hatch is also being sold at RM69,888 for a limited time.
