BYD partners DreamWorks Animation’s flick 'The Wild Robot'

LONDON: BYD UK has partnered with the forthcoming DreamWorks Animation feature film, The Wild Robot.

Based on the New York Times best-selling book, The Wild Robot made its big-screen debut on Oct 18.

In the film, audiences will be introduced to Roz, a robot who mistakenly ends up on a remote wild island, with no idea how she got there.

To survive Roz realises she must adapt to her surroundings and learn from nature.

As she slowly makes the island her home, we see her befriend the island’s animal inhabitants and ultimately, become more than her programming.

The partnership between BYD UK and The Wild Robot will focus on the recently launched BYD SEAL U DM-i SUV.

Featuring Dual Mode, Intelligent plug-in-hybrid technology and class-leading space for the entire family, the combined range of up to 699 miles means BYD Seal U DM-i is the companion for those extended family adventures.

As part of this partnership, BYD will feature the universe of The Wild Robot and Roz as part of the launch campaign for SEAL U DM-i.

This includes a chance for a lucky family to win the ultimate family adventure to Norway as part of a test drive campaign.

DreamWorks Animation has brough the world hits such as Shrek and Kung Fu Panda.
