JOHOR BARU: The BYD Tech Discovery interactive exhibition will be in Johor Baru (Jan 22 to 25), and the public can experience the forefront of electric mobility at Padang (A) Akasia @ Angsana Johor Baru Mall.
The showcase marks the southern edition of BYD’s nationwide tour following its successful kickoff in Kuala Lumpur in 2025.
It is organised by BYD Malaysia and Denza, together with BYD Sime Motors, the official distributor of BYD cars in Malaysia.
Denza is the luxury intelligent electric vehicle brand under BYD.

Visitors can engage with a curated programme designed to demonstrate capability, safety, and innovation:
- Engineering in Action: Live camel bridge, and cross-axle demonstrations showcasing BYD’s advanced Dual Mode Off-Road (DMO) hybrid technology.
- The Driver’s Seat Experience: Customers can choose any latest BYD and Denza models for test drives, including reverse parking and speed bump exercises showcasing real-world usability across all models, as well as 360-degree rotation and crabwalk demonstrations including DMO Technology (test rides only).
- Technology Deep Dives: Interactive stations with technical experts explaining Blade Battery, e-Platform 3.0, and BYD’s intelligent systems.
- Lifestyle Zone: Complimentary coffee, kids’ playground, and exclusive BYD merchandise.
- Exclusive Deals and Lucky Draw: Visitors exploring vehicle ownership can access special event promotions and qualify for a lucky draw with a grand prize pool of up to RM38,888.

Since entering Malaysia, BYD’s footprint has consistently grown and currently spans over 40 outlets nationwide.
There are now more than 27,000 BYD and 1,200 Denza owners across the country.

This showcase is designed to help consumers better understand BYD’s technology and experience the innovations of the future first-hand."

Robust infrastructure including 12 body and paint authorised centres and a centralised parts warehouse managing 4,610 line items with a 94% fill rate, provides assurance at every stage of ownership.
