KUALA LUMPUR: Online car platform Carsome has started to expand beyond Peninsula nmalaysia with four new inspection centres in Sarawak.

With the launch of the inspection centres in Kuching, Sibu, Miri and Bintulu, Carsome now has 49 inspection centres nationwide.

The car trading platform said the inspection centres were set up to offer customers a differentiated and hassle-free car-selling experience, through fast payment and worry-free transaction process.

Guided by a stringent inspection procedure, every inspection centre would have a qualified inspector to conduct a full inspection on the car, to ensure its quality is accounted for and to offer the best price in the market, it said.

“The presence of Carsome in East Malaysia marks a significant milestone for us. Our motivation is to make Carsome services accessible to all Malaysians as we continue to innovate the used car ecosystem, driven by data and technology,” said Carsome co-founder and Carsome Academy CEO Teoh Jiun Ee.

Sarawak deputy premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas launched the Kuching inspection centre. Present at the opening ceremony were Teoh, Carsome wholesale operations general manager Chris Ang and Carsome chief property officer Danny Chin.
