KUALA LUMPUR: Chery Malaysia is welcoming the Hari Raya season with festive promotions such as cash rebates starting from RM7,888 for the Tiggo Cross HEV (hybrid electric vehicle), while the Tiggo 7 PHEV (plug-in hybrid) and Tiggo 8 PHEV comes with RM8,888 savings.
The promotional campaign runs from March 1 – 31.
Chery’s PHEV lineup is engineered to deliver electrified performance, powerful acceleration and outstanding fuel efficiency.
When fully charged and filled with a full tank of petrol, the PHEV models can travel up to 1,200km.
Chery Malaysia will also be hosting a Hari Raya Roadshow at LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre.
Visitors to the mall will have the opportunity to experience the Tiggo 7 PHEV and the Tiggo Cross HEV through test-drive sessions within the shopping haven.
Families can look forward to a colouring contest for children on March 14, while parents enjoy interactive games with opportunities to win exclusive Chery merchandise such as a mini tote bag, Chery baseball cap, Raya packet set, and limited-edition enamel pin.
Customers who confirm a booking for any Chery vehicle between March 7 - April 5, 2026 at the roadshow will receive an exclusive gift and RM150 worth of LaLaport BBCC shopping vouchers.
Chery Malaysia is also introducing a nationwide PHEV Raya Fit Check Challenge.
From March 9 to 31, the public is encouraged to any Chery showroom and test-drive any PHEV vehicle in their best Hari Raya outfit.
Participants also need to post a photo of them with the vehicle on their social media account to join the contest.
The month-long contest features five categories and offers prizes including smart phones.
“This Raya, Chery is bringing the celebration both into our showrooms and out to where Malaysians are," said Chery Malaysia vice president Lee Wen Hsiang.
“We have driven from Kuala Lumpur to Terengganu without needing to refuel, and we are excited for our customers to own a Chery PHEV and feel that same comfort, confidence and impressive range,” he added.
