Its latest Omoda 5 and Tiggo 8 Pro sports utility vehicles (SUVs) were locally launched by Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz at a gala event attended by some 350 invitees on July 6.
The Omoda 5 comes in an entry-level C-variant at RM108,800 and a range-topping H-variant at RM118,800, on-the-road without insurance, while the bigger Tiggo 8 Pro is available in a single variant priced at RM159,800.

In a statement, Chery Malaysia said the remarkable achievement surpassed its expectations and is a testament to the strong market demand and customer confidence in the China-based brand's product innovation and offerings.
Chery Malaysia's extended warranty programme, which outdoes the current standard warranty package, offers a 7-year or 150,000km mileage warranty and a 5-year free maintenance package (labour only, excluding parts).

In addition, buyers are provided with an engine warranty extension option for 10 years or 1,000,000km mileage at an affordable price of only RM2,000.
The company has an extensive network of 23 ready-to-serve dealer showrooms and eight more outlets ready to walk-in customers by the end of August.
It also has 22 aftersales service centres with well-stocked spare parts strategically located across Peninsular and East Malaysia.
