KUALA LUMPUR: Chery Malaysia has launched the free CarLinko mobile app for Chery PHEV (plug-in hybrid) owners.
Both the Chery Tiggo 7 and 8 PHEVs can deliver up to 1,200km with a full tank of petrol and when fully charged.
“CarLinko extends the benefits of PHEV driving beyond fuel savings by giving owners seamless control over comfort, charging and vehicle insights, reinforcing our commitment to smarter, more enjoyable electrified mobility,” said Chery Malaysia vice president Lee Wen Hsiang.
Using the CarLinko app, drivers can remotely activate the air conditioning before entering the car.
Also, for those moments when you can’t remember where you parked, the CarLinko app allows users to quickly locate their vehicle.
Owners can schedule battery charging at home through the mobile app, making it easy to charge during preferred hours.
The CarLinko app also gives owners real-time access to vital vehicle information wherever they are.
Users can view their vehicle’s status including mileage, remaining driving range, battery and petrol level.
The CarLinko app also provides tyre pressure information and fuel consumption data.
Also, owners can review service schedules and access detailed service records, providing clear visibility into what work has been carried out on the vehicle.
For new car owners, activation and pairing of the app will be completed during vehicle delivery.
Existing Chery PHEV owners can activate the service by visiting their nearest authorised Chery dealership, where verification and secure pairing with the vehicle will be carried out.
The CarLinko mobile app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
