Chery Malaysia offers customer courtesy car after complaint


SUBANG JAYA:  Chery Malaysia vice president Lee Wen Hsiang has issued a statement regarding a recent complaint by a new Omoda 5 owner.

The owner, using the Facebook handle "Jc Jess", had posted a video complaining about the car she bought at the Omoda 5 Fans Malaysia (Official) Facebook page.

"Chery Malaysia received a complaint from a customer involving her Omoda 5, and we would like to assure our customers and the public that we are taking this matter very seriously.

"The safety of our customers is our utmost priority, " said Lee.

He said the company has been in contact with Jc Jess since April 6 to address her concern. Chery Malaysia had also loaned her a courtesy car as it looked into her complaint, he added.
