Dubbed "With Chery With Love," the club was launched at Jiospace here.
Former national shuttler and triple Olympic silver medal winner Datuk Lee Chong Wei was the guest of honour.
Also present at the event were Chery Malaysia senior branding, marketing and public relations manager Celeste Lim and Chery International marketing manager Crystal Zhang.
The club will help to create a community where owners can connect through the sharing of experiences and/or provide support for the less informed, among others.
Every new owner of a Chery vehicle will automatically be made a member of the newly formed community.
With over 400 members already onboard and growing, the club's members are predominantly made up of owners of the Omoda 5 compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) that was launched in July alongside the Tiggo 8 Pro.
The seven-seater Tiggo 8 Pro with a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine is available as a single variant and is priced on the road without insurance at RM159,800.
Meanwhile, the 1.5-litre turbocharged Omoda 5 compact SUV comes in two variants starting with the entry-level C-variant at RM108,800 while the range-topping H-variant costs RM118,800.
“WCWL is more than just a tagline, it is a commitment from Chery Malaysia to our car owners, and we intend to make them feel like family," said Lim.
