Chery Omoda partners with 'Wicked' movie

KUALA LUMPUR: Chery sub-brand Omoda is working with Universal Pictures to mark the studio’s new film, Wicked.
Wicked premiered across Malaysia from Nov 22.

In Malaysia, fans of Omoda and the Wicked movie can view and snap photos with the Omoda 5 Pink Witch Edition vehicle which will be displayed at TGV Pavilion Bukit Jalil from Nov 28 - Dec 11.

In this partnership, Omoda has created two car wraps with a Wicked theme: the Omoda E5 Green Witch edition and the Omoda 5 Pink Witch edition.

These wraps feature the movie's characters of Elphaba and Glinda on each of the respective vehicles.

Directed by Jon M. Chu, Wicked has an all-star cast, featuring Emmy, Grammy, and Tony Award winner and Oscar nominee Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, a young woman misunderstood because of her green skin who has yet to discover her true power.

While Grammy Award-winning star Ariana Grande plays Glinda, a popular young woman gilded by privilege who has yet to discover her true heart.

In addition, the film stars Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Jonathan Bailey and Peter Dinklage.
