LONDON: The new Chery Tiggo 4 CSH full-hybrid compact SUV (sport utility vehicle) in the UK will be powered by a fifth-generation Chery Super Hybrid system.
This combines a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric drive system, a 1.83kWh battery, and a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT).
The powertrain delivers a combined output of 204PS and 310Nm of torque.
The B-segment model is offered in two trim levels – Aspire and Summit, and customer deliveries expected in summer 2026.
Crucially, the Tiggo 4 CSH requires no external charging. Unlike a plug-in hybrid, it eliminates the requirement of cables, home chargers or charging schedules.
Chery UK country director Farrell Hsu said: “The Chery Tiggo 4 CSH makes hybrid ownership even more accessible, with a winning combination of technology, real-world efficiency and a specification that delivers real everyday value."
The Aspire variant includes fabric upholstery, heated wing mirrors, electric windows and a rear-view parking camera, alongside a fully connected digital interface.
The Summit variant builds on this with eco-leather upholstery, a 360-degree camera system, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat and privacy glass throughout.
The digital cabin is centred around dual 12.3-inch screens, providing both the instrument display and infotainment interface.
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included as standard, while Summit models also benefit from cooled wireless phone charging.
The “Hello Chery” intelligent voice assistant responds to natural voice commands to control key vehicle functions, and keyless entry with remote start is included as standard.
The Tiggo 4 CSH has the brand’s signature diamond front grille and LED lighting elements.
Boot capacity extends to 1,155 litres with the rear seats folded.
The exterior is complemented by 17-inch alloy wheels.
As for safety, there are seven airbags and advanced driver-assistance systems including Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Rear Collision Warning (RCW).
